For my Deacon class, Lutheran Worship, I had to write two orders of worship that could be used in my church. One of them had to be a "Thematic" liturgy and special order of worship for a festival or event. The liturgy should clearly demonstrate my understanding of the “Ordo” and the clear focus of “Lutheran Worship”, and sensitivity to the unique biblical theme to be presented in a creative manner that will effectively engage the long-time member and the community guest.

The two orders of worship I wrote were for "All Saints' Day" and "The Resurrection of Our Lord (Easter Day)". In addition to this, my pastor also asked me to write a Thanksgiving Day order of service, which I will be conducting this Thanksgiving Eve (11/26/2025).

I am thankful that I have been serving in the worship servers at my church for several years and have asked many questions during that time about the worship service. I believe this gave me a slight edge in writing these orders of service. Please check out these services and use them if you find them beneficial.
